Went ok to be honest, basically the same as with any company, a lot of terms which make 0 sense or you have heard somewhere else..but just slightly different.
Found a nice little place to go for lunch in a park across from work, will need to get used to the fact that lunch is an hour.
Colleagues still need to get used to each other, but that is understandable.
Maybe the annual company party on Saturday (with free bar?) will change that.
I remember my first night out with Motorola..suffice to say, it was great fun with the Nordic team.
As it is typically Dutch to keep to your self, I discovered that there are 4 of us in the hotel, and we all met yesterday by sheer coincidence after I went to the 12th floor to admire the view.
Which was good as 3 of us went for a walk, as we set out to see about a laundrette because the hotel is to expensive to do your washing. Didn't find one, so I'm going by my host and ask if it would be possible to do some washing there.
Walked down to the seaside again as you can see, no drug dealers bothering me this time which is always good.
Got back home, had some food, something to drink and then bed..09:00 start tomorrow.
